But it’s a new promotional video of Ventoura in the musical that’s got people talking.

The actress’s light brunette long locks will be replaced with sleek, black hairdo, with viewers commenting that she appears almost “unrecognisable”.

The new video also shows Ventoura wearing a short, sexy 1920s style dress with sheer stockings, a far cry from the casual outfits she wore on Packed to the Rafters.
During the interview, Sunrise host Nat Barr commented on the risqué role.
“It’s a bit raunchy, isn’t it?” Nat commented.
“It’s pretty sexy, yeah,” Ventoura admitted.
Laughing, Nat asked: “Is that what drew you to the role?!”

The actress said she felt that the racy storyline and characters are what’s made Chicago so popular.
“Well, I think that’s what makes it such a great show,” she said.
“And that’s why it’s been, you know, it’s the longest running show on Broadway. Because it’s just such a brilliant blend of a bit sexy, but it’s really fun. And that’s interesting.
“The characters are great, and it’s just such a great night at the theatre.”

She said shooting the promotional video was a special experience.

“God, it was just a dream,” she said.
“We shot that in the old Melbourne jail, and they started pumping the music through the speakers and it was all lit up – and then roll in the costumes that black and the red lighting and stuff.
“Yeah, it gives you goosebumps. It was really good.”
