The Sunrise crew were busy purchasing tickets for the life-changing Powerball draw when Nat took the surprise swipe at Beretts.
Noting that Nat, Matt Shirvington and Beretts were all on their phones buying tickets during her news segment, presenter Edwina Bartholomew commented that “you don’t need to do it right now.”
Shirvo then revealed how Nat had recently taken home $930 in a Lotto draw a few weeks ago, but said he hadn’t had a chance to buy his ticket yet.

“You reminded me, Eddy!” he said.
Nat then suggested that Shirvo choose a more appropriate time to purchase an entry in the draw.
“Not during the news, maybe the ad break would be a good time,” she said.
Then she added: “No, do it during sport.”
The sledge prompted a shocked reaction from Beretts who threw up his hands and exclaimed: “Woah, woah, back up!”
He added: “No one does anything else during sport.”

Shirvo agreed, adding that he has “absolute focus on sport”.
“I’m not worried about you,” Beretts responded.
A laughing Nat then backtracked, saying that she has “razor focus” during Beretts’ sports segments.
Shirvo added that he would get his hands on a Powerball entry eventually, saying: “Don’t worry, I will have my ticket.”
