A behind-the-scenes conversation between Sunrise stars Natalie Barr and Katie Brown has taken an unexpected turn – with a priceless reaction from Matt Shirvington.
The X-rated moment, which was being filmed, unfolded when news reporter Katie was backstage with one of Nat’s most-loathed food items – passionfruit.
As she offered a bowl of the fruit to Nat, the Sunrise co-host visibly grimaced.

“Try one, that’s so good,” Katie said, tucking in.
“No, I can’t,” Nat responded.
“The smell even, it’s the sourness and … the grittiness, and the little seeds, they just … stick in your teeth and I just … the taste!”

Laughter could be heard in the background as the camera briefly panned to Shirvo, who was standing nearby listening to the conversation.
“This doesn’t get stuck in my teeth!” Katie responded.
“No but … when you crunch them, that taste!” Nat continued, her disdain obvious to all.
“No, but you don’t … you just suck and swallow,” Katie said, giving Nat a demonstration.
Immediately realising the double entendre, Katie and Nat burst into laughter.
“We’ll leave it there!” said the person filming, as the camera panned back to Shirvo.

He could be seen with eyes wide and jaws agape, stunned at the raunchy comment.
Meanwhile, in the foreground, Katie could be seen doubling over with laughter.
Multiple crying face emojis were dropped in the comments section when the footage was shared on Sunrise’s social media page.
“She is so funny,” one fan said of Katie Brown.
Agreeing with Nat Barr’s loathing for passionfruit, another agreed: “I’m with Nat! They are horrific!”
