Sunrise sports presenter Mark Beretta and his wife Rachel have separated after 22 years of marriage.
The pair married in 2001 after meeting in 1999.
In a statement on Saturday, Mark confirmed an amicable split and said their teenage children, Ava and Dan, were their priority moving forward.

“At the start of the year, after a great deal of reflection and 22 years of marriage, Rach and I came to the conclusion that a separation was best for us,” Mark said in the statement via a Seven spokesperson.
“We remain good friends, and our two children and grandchild remain our focus and priority as we move forward with love, dignity, and respect.”

Mark has been a broadcaster with Seven for more than two decades and, over the span of his television career, has covered almost every major international event in sports journalism.
He received a Medal of the Order of Australia at a special ceremony in Sydney last year for his service to the community through charitable organisations.
While Mark has described his job on Sunrise as a “rare gift”, he has also said he missed many mornings with his family as a result.
“When the kids were little, they went to bed early and all the lights were off in our house by 7pm. But now they are staying up later and sleeping in, and you’re missing that family time in the morning,” he told New Idea.
“Looking back, you think, I would have loved to spend more time at home, but life is what it is and you make the most of it.”
Off-screen, Mark is a 10-time Australian Water Ski champion, a silver medallist at the Singapore International Masters, and held a US record.
