Sunrise stars have been left in stitches over a bizarre debate about a suspicious sun bear at a zoo in China.
Presenter Edwina Bartholomew revealed how the zoo has been forced to deny claims that one its bears is in fact a man wearing a bear suit.

“In a video that’s gone viral, the sun bear can be seen standing on its two hind legs interacting with zoo visitors by waving its paws,” Eddy said on Sunrise.
“Sceptics say its behaviour is very human like.
“They also point out to be what appears to be a pants-like fold around the bear’s rear end when standing.”

She added: “They are denying, they say it is a sun bear.”
Sunrise hosts Nat Barr and Matt Shirvington then studied the footage of the bear’s suspicious buttocks area, leaving Shirvo to share a very bold opinion.
“That is a dude,” he said. “That is a person.”
While Eddy agreed with Shirvo, Nat wasn’t having any of it.

Sports presenter Mark Beretta then pointed out that it would be a difficult issue to prove one way or another.
“I like how no one’s brave enough to jump in here and pull the mask off,” he laughed.
Nat agreed, saying: “You don’t really want to send your kids in to check!”
She then wondered what a “foolproof way” to check on whether the bear is in fact a man could be.
“See if those pants come off!” said Shirvo.

Eddy agreed, making a pants-off action with her hands and saying: “Just dak him!”
Wrapping up the bizarre debate, Nat noted that it was the “weirdest story yet!”
