“That was unbelievable!” Monique cooed.
“How good — absolutely incredible!” Matt shot back.

Monique made reference to John Farnham — whom she mentioned would be moved by the stellar performance — after battling a number of health issues recently.
“Farnsey (John Farnham) must be so moved by that if he heard that — what a tribute,” Monique added.
“Wouldn’t he be!” Matt finished.
The West End musicial, The Choir of Man is set in a typical British pub. It involves nine singers who belt out beloved popular hits by artists including Katy Perry, Sia and Guns & Roses.
The tribute comes after a bout of ill health for John Farnham, who was diagnosed with mouth cancer in August 2022, with his son sharing a new photo of him at Christmas.

The photo, posted to Instagram by John’s son Rob Farnham, showed his family sitting around the table for Christmas lunch.
Friends and fans flooded the comments to share their well wishes.
“Merry Xmas Farnhams! So good to see John at the end of the table,” one woman said.
“Wishing your family a wonderful Christmas. How generous of you to share a photo of your precious dad with us,” another added.
“Merry Christmas to our John and his beautiful family. Hope you are healing well John,” a third piped in.
The singer had not been seen in public since his announcing his health scare in August 2022.
Farnham underwent 12-hour surgery for throat cancer, with doctors removing a tumour from his mouth before reconstructing his jaw in a second major operation.

In an emotional statement on August 23 this year, marking the one-year anniversary since his surgery, Farnham said he was “the luckiest man”.
“I’m home now, and I’m a very grateful and happy man,” he said.
“I’m sitting here in my living room lapping up the attention from my beautiful wife, Jill, my boys Rob and James and mini schnauzer Edmund.”
In October 2023, Gaynor Wheatley, a close family friend and the widow of Farnham’s long-time manager Glenn Wheatley, said the 74-year-old singer was “rebuilding” after announcing in August his cancer was “all clear”.
