The keyboard player for iconic rock group The Kinks, John Gosling, has died aged 75.
Bandmates and fans have shared emotional tributes to Gosling after the band announced his death on social media.
The group, whose hits include You Really Got Me and Lola posted the news that the keyboard player for the group had passed away.

The post said: “We are deeply saddened by the news of the passing of John Gosling.
“We are sending our condolences to John’s wife and family.”

Lead singer Ray Davies said, “Condolences to his wife Theresa and family. Rest in Peace dearest John.”
Gosling was The Kinks’ keyboard player between the years 1970 and 1978. He appeared on ten albums and played on the smash hit song Lola.
The band has sold more than 50 million records worldwide.
