Sunrise viewers were greeted to very different-looking panel on their television screens on Monday morning, with two popular faces missing from the popular Channel 7 breakfast show.
Presenters Edwina Bartholomew and Mark Beretta were both absent from Sunrise, with Monique Write and Katie Brown taking their places on-air with hosts Nat Barr and Matt Shirvington.
Shirvo addressed the new-look panel on the show, explaining where the popular Seven personalities were.

He explained that Eddy was “on holidays”, while Beretts was “on assignment”.
“So we have Mon and Katie with us this morning and we love having you with us,” he said.
But it seems that Eddy isn’t the only Channel 7 TV star taking a well-deserved break.

The Morning Show’s Larry Emdur is also on annual leave, with the popular host sharing snaps from his trip to the South of France on his Instagram page.
In one post, he revealed how he’d spotted basketball star Michael Jordan’s super yacht in his travels.
“We moored up next to Michael Jordan’s little dinghy last night,” he wrote.
“Some boat porn numbers for for you . Superyacht Joy cost about $120m, she’s 70m long with a basketball court on the foredeck (of course😁) and the best news is you can charter her for about $1m per week.
“#SouthOfFrance #BoatPorn And in breaking boat news, this one isn’t big enough so he’s just bought a new one.”
